The Author, Rosalind Gardner (online@rosalindgardner.com) Back in early 1998, I saw a banner ad for the One and Only dating service that read "Webmasters Make Money". It turned out to be an ad for their affiliate program. I learned that basically all I had to do was put a coded link on my site. If someone clicked that link and then bought a dating service membership, I earned a commission. So I gave it a try, and made a sale the very first day my site was online!
Two years later my affiliate marketing business was thriving to the point that I was able to quit my 20-year career as an air traffic controller.
